Obama's America, The Progressive Prison

Post by Jccarlton »

Could somebody tell me where in the Constitution where it says that agents of the goverment have without warrant, the ability to just march into my house and arrest me witout probable cause? This is the new reality of our country. I'm just trying to count the legal violations just in this video. spread it around before it gets "disappeared."

This is th enivitable end game of Progressive policies. This is the hard edge to Cass Sunstein's "nudging." This is Boston, 1775 and 2013.

Except for solely blaming progressives, I agree with you.
I was wondering if a shoot out would be started by homeowner refusal in Watertown but police can be big bullies.

I had a laugh at Al Jazeera's expense: they showed a north east US map for Watertown, NY during their coverage. Oops.
Hard to find a channel to watch that didn't have coverage.

Scary stuff. But there is something in US law called Exigent Circumstance. Does it apply here? I don't know, but scary stuff. This situation was extreme, I'll bet it was legal. Now, if this were done to someone because they had bad mouthed an elected official - I'd bet that would be illegal.

I understand Exigent Circumstance allows police action without a warrant, not without probable cause. It's unclear from the video what, if any, probably cause existed. In any case, those rousted from that house have good cause to see the police report which should account the cause leading to the action.

Happens though, and they usually get away with it. Especially when it's not an elected official, but a cop or other lower bureaucrat that doesn't like something you said.

But it is done all the time in the name of drugs. And no one cares much about it. And that is "Conservative" policy.
