Filament deposit meets heavy metal. But still filament deposit.
The daylight is uncomfortably bright for eyes so long in the dark.

Huh? This implies a simple raster scan rather than contour tracing. But why couldn't the arc be reinitiated on the other side of the hole? Startup blobbing unacceptable?
