SEATTLE'S MINIMUM WAGE CRASH: $15 to ZERO! Profit's Take A Nosedive!

Image

Seattle, Washington, one of the strongest remaining bastions of liberal philosophy left in the country, passed a phased-in $15 minimum wage law earlier this year. The highest minimum wage in the country. The vote was unanimous and the throng outside cheered, but for many this is a loss from which they will never recover. It is a blow to the profitability of business that they just can't take.

We also have the Socialists on the Right getting smacked by reality in Washington and that other Washington. Price supports for criminals have been voted down.

Evidently reality is not a one way street.

Everything has to be about drugs.

You just can't control yourself can you. A one tour wonder by definition.

The real point here is that excessively liberal agendas are f u c k i n g people over. Which is what you fully support. Sad.

Ms. Kshama Sawant got her wish, stupidity rules. $15 minimum wage is a total attempt to appropriate wealth from those she hates, but her own idiocy caused her to target those she professes to love, the small business owners and there employees who will soon be living on the street.

Rich folk don't go to middle class establishments. The middle class supports itself. This is a point lost on liberal morons (and pro-drug chemically-induced robots).

Edited for bad typing.

Well lets see.

Prohibition is costing us $1 trillion a year in medical costs.

And it is murdering at least 500,000 a year from denial of medicine. That is quite a murder rate to maintain Prohibition. It is like we have a bunch of Nazis running the country. If the Nazis aren't likely to kill you wouldn't you complain about the murders every chance you got? Well I suppose if you liked what the Nazis were doing you would at least keep silent, if not cheer them on.

The murdering can't stop soon enough for me. And if you want me to shut up all you have to do is stop the murders. And the persecutions.

We have a cure for cancer. Every minute it is denied adds to the death toll. I'm opposed to the killing.

Raising the minimum wage will damage businesses to a limited extent, but the real damage is in is higher public spending and unemployment.

The increase labor costs aren't going to come out of that measly 4% profit margin. The extra labor costs will mostly go into the price of the product or by trying to increase efficiency or productivity; do more with less and make those that keep their jobs do much more work. Also by charging more, the difference will be paid by the consumers of the product. Thus, this will cause a general price increase to all food service businesses in the affected area.

Of course, a general price increase for all restaurants will depress volume to a degree, and thus revenue. People will eat out less. So marginal ones will go out of business due to the pressure. Jobs are cut. Higher unemployment, and, for those who keep their jobs, less hours. Social services and benefit costs will increase to compensate for those that are laid off. Spending increases, and tax increases follow. Nice work!

What about the effect of what Eisenhower did.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wetback

Then there's the business of 100 million jobs being made redundant by robots. You can't unionize those robots, and they're not going to buy those hamburgers.

Then there's the retirement heist.

People should be retiring earlier, not later.

Hoff's Law

'Any economic recovery will immediately be reversed by profit reinvestment in automation.'

The profit reinvestment in automation results in the mass layoff of redundant workers causing economic downturn.

Simon's Law - when the economics get desperate enough "conservatives" will look into known ways of saving $1 trillion a year in medical expenses despite their cultural inclinations to the contrary.

Of course the lay offs will be tremendous.

I found the mass murderers I was looking for. Scroll down. Nixon. Who decided that pursuing a war he was interested in was worth killing 1/2 a million sick Americans a year. The information is not new. My framing of it is. If the frame catches on.... Well you know. And the funny thing? About half the American population is complicit. But unknowingly. We will have a lot of people soon who are in the position of the Germans post WW2. It took them 50 years to even start getting over the shame. And of course some of them had no shame.

Look up Manuel Guzmán of Complutense University in Madrid, Spain. His production and the production of his group over the last 40 years has been voluminous and wide ranging. There have been a few Americans involved. Dr. Donald Abrams, Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of California San Francisco and Chief of Hematology / Oncology at San Francisco General Hospital, is one. There are a LOT of videos with him in it on YouTube. If you are interested.

If it was me (glad it's not), I'd hate to be on the wrong side of this issue when it breaks. The Party of Nixon will not do well. Not well at all.

Anyway I have taken your response to my point (mass murder) to heart. And decided to use it. Thanks!

I must add that it is very unfortunate that the socialist will be the ones to benefit most from this issue. I hate it when that happens. Oh. Well. Maybe the Libertarians can fill the void. They broke from Nixon in '72 over his policies. This one among them.
