I think you've got the question backwards.

Of course they hate neuro science. It contradicts the existance of a "soul", unacceptable for religious zealots.

Fox news is the ONLY credible source among the news media. (And even IT is still too liberal for my preference.)

As for your contention that someone should "hate neuro-science because it contradicts the existence of a soul", where in the world did you get such a peculiar notion?

First of all, it doesn't contradict it. Secondly, I know of no one claiming that it does.

LOL, alright guys, time for me to get out of here again. I could not resist that one time. Guess that was a mistake. I have heard nothing here that makes me think that I am wrong. In fact you guys just confirmed my thoughts.

Edit, I do wonder whether it would be possible for us Europeans to file a class action lawsuit against FOX for libel.

The funny thing is, nobody should really be suprised by the Wikileaks leaks, really. If you want to know what the americans think of you, all you have to do is turn on FOX news ;)
In this regards the Wikileaks leak was in no way more damaging for the US than an hour of the O Riley factor.

I've read some weird stuff about the founder of Wikileaks. Apparently he was raised by some Austrailian cult called 'The Family' that has eerie parallels to the Sci-Fi movie, "Children of the Damned." The kids all had their hair dyed blonde, were starved and raised on LSD, very messed up.

Do you have a link or roughly remember where you read about that?

Are you seriously linking a thread into comments by a group who ask the question
"At the recent conference in Chicago of the Association of Politics and Life Sciences, a panel on "Biobehaviorial Approaches to Politics" addressed the important question: What is wrong with people who disagree with the mainstream of American academic social scientists?"
Ah, yes. Another unbiased, non-leading question from a group purporting to be academic in character!?!?

Better, I think, to ask What large-scale genetic malformations have been suffered by people who are then abnormally compelled to set themselves up as the mainstream of American academic social scientists and exclude those without such psychotic abnormalities?

...It's only a question, right!? I think that brings us back to the subject of the thread nicely...

But digressing just once more, on regards wikileaks/press, I thought well of the following piece, whose thesis is that wikileaks is actually now fulfilling the role that the neutered press should be doing. I agree:

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/blogs/talking_ ... 50579.html

(That being said, I did watch the video being discussed, and it looked to me that not only were members of the group, who were shot at, carrying RPGs, but at one point at the start one was levelled and aimed at the helicopter from a position behind a building. The helicopter then went out of line of sight of that RPG to then come around the front of the building. Loss of journalists in such an action is clearly a sad event, but if journalists hang around with guys with RPGs waiting for some 'news' then the 'news' may well catch up with them. I am sure there are cases of unnecessary publicide (?) but this didn't strike me as a particularly clear case for this. If you pick a war with a country, you're gonna end up killing innocent civilians in that country, one way or another. That decision had already been made.)

You'd think those dilemmas would make for a very good piece of mainstream journalism ...

Go to wfmu.org, playlists and program archives, Dave Emory, ftr 724 'Wiki of the Damned' or ftr 725. Another way is to google search on Julian Assange, The Family aka White Brotherhood, Austrailia. Assange only recently stopped dying his hair blonde, so while he may be distancing himself from the cult, the influence is undeniable. Wikileaks is financed by German charities protected by nondisclosure law. I doubt if they could pass their own test for transparency.

I could get that list on and on and on. These are just a few jewels that I found on Youtube. The first one made me LOL.
I mean this is just wrong on so many levels.

But yeah, Fox news defínitely demonstrated that it is totally unbiased and definitely not home to a bunch of religious zealots.
But none of these clips actually represent Fox news actual news reporting. It's all to easy to put clips of Fox's opinion and entertainment programming and then say there is a bias. That doesn't mean you have actually found one.
