Wrong p+B reaktion.

A question about the B+p reaction.
I found this reaction in a paper abut the polywell.
p+B11 > C12+He4
C12+e-> Be12>2He4
Its looks complete wrong.
I think its more like this.
p+B11 > C12
C12+e- > Be8+He4
Be8 > 2He4

Yes. You got it. One He4 up front, two more on the Be8 decay. It is a two step as the predominant reaction.

Looks like the picture in some of the "ASKMAR" documents that has been commented on a number of times without being changed. I've never actually seen the alpha-numberic equation that way.
