They Killed Him And Found Nothing

There was an informant and a claimed smell. Welcome to the USSR comrades. The trouble with these things is that they are not done often enough. Tragedies. If they were doing this thousands of times a day we would have statistics. Unremarkable.

And the weepy woman in the video? Doesn't she understand how dangerous the chemicals police are protecting us from are? Sacrifices will be made from time to time. It was her turn. She should have been happy to make a contribution. Doesn't she know there is a War on?

And the 80 year old man? A little slow to get up I guess. Fortunately he will never have to get up again.

I know I'm just saying what everyone else has or is thinking, but can't you just consolidate your legalize drugs to a single thread that you post to periodically? While I'm perfectly fine with your stance and agree with your sentiment towards marijuana, you've clearly crossed the line long ago into spamming. I'm certain that had I made so numerous a posting about some topic I feel strongly, I'd have long ago been asked to cut it out or consolidate. Basically, this isn't your private dumping ground, and you shouldn't treat it as such.

No one makes you read any of my threads. Any more than you have to read "Drug Loons".

But OK. Maybe I should start "Prohibition loons" or "Death squad supporters" or "Killing Americans for fun and profit". Suggest a good title and I'll run with it.

There's could be a darker reason for the raid that uses drugs as a pretext. The victim was a politically active and respected member of the community, perhaps his viewpoint upset the powers that be to the point they wanted him dead.

It would signal a ugly turn in America's progression towards dictatorship.

You're right in that I don't have to read your topics, however; there is no logical reason to spread the same topic across multiple threads. It's illogical and wasteful at best. As for the title, choose whatever you like, just be reasonable.

The usual way these things go is that the cops bust some guy and say "we can go easy on you if you tell us who your supplier is".

The guy doesn't want to finger his real supplier - that can get you killed - so he fingers some one else. Preferably some one not in the trade.

But as you point out the "informant" could be notional in the case of some one the powers want taken out. It is just as easy to manufacture an informant as it is to manufacture a "chemical" smell.

You still going with "victimless crime"?

Prohibition makes innocent people victims. That was one of the reasons for ending alcohol prohibition. It will be one of the resons for ending this one.

And I note it didn't keep you from getting the drugs you wanted. And I must say that it appears that the effects have yet to completely wear off.

Also note the TEAs (some of them) have come out against prohibition as a waste of money. They look at $50 to $100 bn a year to get 10% of the drugs and figure "why bother?" Other than all the jobs dependent on the program. For that very reason Milton Friedman called it a socialist enterprise. Funny so many so called "conservatives" supporting socialism.

But I do get you. Because you have no self control you want a police state to protect you from your bad habits. But it doesn't even do that. All I can figure is that you must be on the gravy train.

Prohibition is an awful flop.
We like it.
It can't stop what it's meant to stop.
We like it.
It's left a trail of graft and slime,
It won't prohibit worth a dime,
It's filled our land with vice and crime.
Nevertheless, we're for it.

Franklin P. Adams, 1931

By 1933 Americans were not so stupid. But there was a remnant. Republicans as I recall. 1932 my friend. Is coming to an election near you.

Prohibition doesn't make people murder people, and it doesn't make people bear false witness against innocent people. Drugs do these things. Drugs. Not prohibition. Drugs.

What gets me with all this government data collection they rely on smell. Extremely dangerous to be deaf during a swat raid, expecially if you own a gun. Though you have to wonder when they can detain the other seven people without violence. Maybe they didn't call out before shooting because they knew he couldn't hear.

Too bad something like this doesn't happen to the idiot that has since departed.

I got bored and took a look, and he is still at it elsewhere. Thank god it does not return here.

In more than a quarter century online the only person I have ever met who is so emotionally immature and out of control is Jack Sarfatti, who was just kicked from Jim's reading list for his misanthropic antics.

I dunno, William Bishop aka "Schneibster" is quite the character. He has made a career out of being an internet boob and troll. It really is funny that if you google "schneibster" the first autofill is "banned".

But, that said, it's days here seem to be over. Yeah! It has found other pastures to pee on.

I was poking around a little at http://www.rationalia.com/forum/ and they had an encounter as well. It was freakin hiliarious to read some of it. I blew snot out of my nose a bunch of times laughing so hard.

Meh.

Yes, in "so" I meant "so immature as the schneibster".
