Does Big Brother have competition?

Post by GIThruster »

It will be very interesting to get to the bottom of this. We need to see people go to prison.

The only sound assumption is that the common carrier is insecure, wired or wireless. End to end encryption helps.

Strangely enough that easiest thing to monitor is now the hardest, a written letter. Automation makes it hard to capture a letter now a days.

Monitoring has never been hard. What is hard is getting the permissions to build a tower, used for monitoring the public. How can that happen? It's a violation of federal law for the feds to do it, and a violation of privacy and a civil matter for anyone else to do it.

And I can't help but wonder if this is Google again. They are really sneaky like that.

Little brother had proven it is far more invasive than our government has been.

The surveillance state was originally ramped up to go after the people you didn't like. And now you complain that it is going after you? Too funny my friend. Too funny.

First they came for..... The lessons of history are never learned.

And it is the Republicans who have allowed and encouraged all this. The supposedly small government party. Except for....

And funnier yet. Now that sentiment is turning in favor of the formerly reviled the state will need to repurpose all that machinery you built. Who do you think it will be used against? Are you laughing or crying?
