'Global Warming' and Putin are top Obama priorities. After turning foreign affairs into Halloween and creating ISIL, creating Ukraine, flying infected Ebola carriers into the US... I am sure this is all going to make sense and someone is going to help explain it all in Progressive-Speak.

Putin's Russia will take Ukraine, about which I don't see any good options beyond driving down the price of oil exports on which the Russian economy depends. After securing Ukraine, Putin will consider which neighbor to take next, at which point we can do something if the US and world leadership have the gonads.

ISIS is an immediate threat which we can do something about, if leadership has the gonads. Airstrikes against ISIS in one front while supporting an ally of theirs on another front makes no sense. ISIS will continue the killing until exterminated.

Basically, once winter rolls around, Ukraine has no gas for heat, and the Maiden government will be overthrown by angry mobs. McCain and Kerry will probably label the mobs of angry Ukrainians as terrorists and demand NATO send troops to protect the NAZI government in Kiev.

Obama creating ISIL is rather far fetched. Certanly ISIL grew in the chaos and hatred present in Syria and Irac. Certainly the world positions in the Syrian civil war did not help- probably the European and Arab states more so than the US. Turkey may end up being recognized as one of the greatest facilitators of ISIL. Calling it Obama's fault alone is inappropriate.

Obama did seem to struggle with the concept of democracy trumping friendly despots. The experience in Egypt seems to have dampened the call for democracy at all costs.

As for intervention with military force the blame or commendations are as much due to Congress as the Presidency. Only the stupid public deprivations of ISIL has led to a consensus of purpose not only in the US and Europe, but also most of the Arab world. Even Turkey seems to be reluctantly aligning itself with the world consensus.

As for Russia's adventures, the US has confronted Putin more than the Europeans, who are the primary faction that might restrain Putin short of major war. The "Reset" was probably a mistake in retrospect

Climate change is a whole different issue and only history will resolve the quagmire.

Ebola in the US comes from not only health workers , but unrecognized carriers arriving via commercial flights. This unknown at the time carrier is so far the only problem that has surfaced thus far. It illustrates the unavoidably of eventual exposure. Trying to minimize the risk is a balancing act between isolation, monitoring, embargoes, treatment of victims, and other interventions. And of course Ebola is only one of many diseases that require careful consideration. Drug resistant TB, measles, polio, influenza , etc, etc. all have a potential to be disruptive and tragic on small to huge scales.

Sure. Providing "Syrian" rebels with arms was just coincidental and everyone else is to blame...they, them, are the ones leading the world over the crazy cliff. As proof, ask Biden. Biden knows where the blame lies so he blamed everyone else first, then apologized. (A desperate ploy to send the crazy VP out to divert attention and blame and remind us it could be worse, it could be the even crazier Biden in charge.)

Until US's CIA over threw the pro-Russian thugs and installed the pro-US thugs, Ukraine as an issue did not exist. Ukraine wasn't on anyones radar. Now it is another broken disaster (ready for the brutal Russian winter, tell Ukrainians in January Global Warming is the cause of the cold). Everywhere Obama has meddled, everywhere without exception is a disaster.

Ebola is Obama's Hurricane Katrina and the CDC guy is Bush's "Brownie," soon to be thrown under the same bus that ran over the Secret Service director. Why else did Obama leave a fawning fund raiser to go back to the most expensive city to live (Washington, D.C.) if it wasn't to look for a bus to deal with that CDC bozo.

It takes a top Russian politician to point out the obvious, Obama has left the planet earth.

Expect CDC's Frieden (a.k.a. Brownie) to resign (Deja Bush Vu), headline will be report of a bus hit and run, no one to blame, move along, nothing to see:

Public health professionals will begin interviewing passengers (132 passengers) about the flight Wednesday afternoon.
“Although she (Vinson) did not report any symptoms and she did not meet the fever threshold of 100.4, she did report at that time she took her temperature and found it to be 99.5,” said CDC Director Tom Frieden.  Her temperature coupled with the fact that she had been exposed to the virus should have prevented her from getting on the plane, he said.  “I don’t think that changes the level of risk of people around her.  She did not vomit, she was not bleeding, so the level of risk of people around her would be extremely low.”
Vinson first reported a fever to the hospital on Tuesday (Oct. 14) and was isolated within 90 minutes, according to officials. She did not exhibit symptoms while on the Monday flight, according to crew members. However, the CDC says passenger notification is needed as an “extra level of safety” due to the proximity in time between the flight and the first reported symptoms.
“Those who have exposures to Ebola, she should not have traveled on a commercial airline,” said Dr. Frieden. “The CDC guidance in this setting outlines the need for controlled movement. That can include a charter plane; that can include a car; but it does not include public transport. We will from this moment forward ensure that no other individual who is being monitored for exposure undergoes travel in any way other than controlled movement.”
Frieden specifically noted that the remaining 75 healthcare workers who treated Thomas Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital will not be allowed to fly. The CDC will work with local and state officials to accomplish this.

Obama needs to put Kerry in charge as the Ebola Commissar, then he can tie Global Warming to Ebola too.

McCain had his share of meetings with ISIL commanders before they went berserk, wasn't just the U.S. though, Turkey, Britain, France, the Sunni countries all played a hand in creating the monster. If the price of oil continues to dip then what goes around may come around for the Saudi's.

DONALD TRUMP: SOMETHING MENTALLY WRONG WITH OBAMA

Thursday on NewsMax TV's "The Steve Malzberg Show," real estate mogul Donald Trump called into question President Barack Obama mental health for refusing enact a travel ban on commercial flights from West African nations suffering with the Ebola outbreak.
When Malzberg asked if Trump, who had tweeted that the president was "psycho"  for not stopping the flights, stands by questioning Obama's mental health, Trump doubled down saying, "There is something wrong, and nobody knows what it is, but there is something wrong. There are so many bad decision. Can anybody be that incompetent? There is something wrong."

Ok, for News media comparison then I go to "Hindu Times" and search... search for ebola as there are no articles today much less headlines, but there are articles if you search. From what I gather, they don't seem to think ebola is an issue, they are ready for it if it comes. Really?!

So, the nurse, Vinson, has it and now passengers on the Friday airline flight out of Dallas as well as the return flight are of interest?

The CDC said it was expanding its search for people who could have been exposed to Vinson to include passengers on her flight to Cleveland, Frontier Airlines flight 1142, in addition to those on her Monday return trip to Texas, flight 1143.

What about the cab, the restroom, her family, dogs, cats, squirrels? What is with the respirators now? Whatever you do trust what you are told even if it does not add up.

Trump should have wondered if the entire news media is also nuts as nothing adds up. Normally we get the identical narrative even down to punctuation, from all news stories. Look, I get it, this is not squalid Africa and we don't take home ebola stricken family members and wash their bodies for burial, but we fly and take public transportation and can expose hundreds in a few hours. And if an ebola care taking nurse, nurse who knows of a fellow nurse who was infected with ebola thinks her wedding rehearsal trumps a fever and diarrhea, travels using public transportation, perhaps ebola's first symptom is that it rots the brain causing the person to Zombie infect others....

Until the media gets their narrative and punctuation synchronized like they normally do, I am going to start to suspect they have caught brain ebola. And wonder if maybe Obama has also been infected.

So...the rumor is that Vinson was keeping back important information from the CDC... Look, from what read, she is smart and caring, not some irresponsible ignorant fool:

At this point, I can't figure out if this is 90% pre-election media hit operation or an Obama mental meltdown. Still, when Belize won't let a cruise ship dock because it has a lab worker on board, and other countries blocking flights from West Africa it looks like others are confused too, or not?

The only glimmer of hope I have is that Duncan's (patient zero) immediate contacts have not been infected (yet) and only those who were in extended close contact (nurses) have contracted it (condolences, hoping for the best there). It remains to be seen if any of the (nearly 1000 now?) contract ebola. I guess we'll just have to wait...

Just from one patient. (I forgot about the cruise ship passengers. Hopefully they're ok as the lab tech has had no symptoms).

The one other hope for holding off a pandemic would be if ebola is more dangerous in a tropical setting and can't survive in the N. hemisphere especially with winter coming on.

The flow on economic cost of isolating contaminated cruise ships, commercial jets, passengers, hospitals (bed use went from 90% to 30% at the hospital where Duncan was treated), wedding and other shops is staggering. So, it would seem that any, any reduction of potential ebola infected travelers is warranted.

If the feds don't step up, the carriers will be forced to, or airports will be forced to (customs, TSA, security, airport workers will strike, a bit surprised it hasn't happened yet). Problem solved on the end where it should have been addressed at the start.

With plague, biting insects were a major disease vector (fleas, mites, flies), and of course non biting, scavenging flying insects might also be a possible vector. I wonder if ebola has a similar mode of transmission I haven't heard one way or another.
