"More Cow Bell!"

Post by mvanwink5 »

The 'More Cow Bell' SNL skit referenced by Ted Cruz perfectly describes leftist rhetoric, class warfare slogans all offering the same solution, more Gubermant, more taxes, more erosion of freedom (bought and paid for by Washington crony 1% money). If this is representative of Cruz's political skill, I would say that he has the best chance to win 2016 POTUS cow race. Although I prefer Rand Paul, Cruz (who seems to me cut from whole neocon cloth) clearly is better at stripping the bark and exposing the leftist one trick pony show for what it is (crony politics benefiting the 1% it decries) and what its results are (impoverishment of the 99%) spelled out clearly in a populist frame.

Rom-Jeb's seem to be succumbing to the argument and observation that they are either short of a broad base (Rom) or just another bunch representing the Washington political class - crony 1% axis (Jeb).

The problem is these days 1% Hollywood leftists + 1% Democan crony money or 1% Repub crony money are what buys elections.

Undermined as it may be, sovereignty remains with the electorate. So what is the electorate's problem? Maybe they don't care.

You get what you deserve... In the USA's case, maybe that's a republic they can't/won't keep.
You can do anything you want with laws except make Americans obey them. | What I want to do is to look up S. . . . I call him the Schadenfreudean Man.

Took a look at Senator Cruz's positions and they are restricted to a handful, apple pie, apple butter, and apples. One hole in the slate of issues is prohibition. For credentials, he is a Harvard lawyer. He is saying the right words on sparse subjects. A professional politician? Maybe that is what is required to be elected, light on luggage.
