What Would The Democrats Do?

We are inching our way to the 2016 election. From my observation Democrats are so far not making a big issue of Prohibition. Why should they? It will only encourage the Rs to nominate the likes of Rand Paul. Who might actually win the election.

I think they will hold off on the anti-Prohibition stuff until the Republicans pick a nominee. If it is a Progressive Prohibitionist Republican (all the field except Paul) they will go all out on med pot (supported by 60% to 80% of Americans) and try to use that to defeat the Rs.

If the Spanish trials show that cannabis can cure breast cancer the Rs are done for Presidentially. Unless they pick Rand Paul.

Media loves Bush. They will soft peddle him all the way to 2016. Like watching professional wrestling. My guess is the Saudis have purchased a large stake (as in ownership) in the media, at least they have with Faux. No wonder Obama rushed to kiss the new Saudi ruler's ring.

The trouble is that ISIS - a Saudi creation - makes bad optics. And Americans generally (since 9/11) have a very bad taste for any brand of Islam. What the pResident doesn't get is that power in America is useless without public opinion.

With oil at $60 a bbl - the Saudis are done for. They need $75 to support their oil socialism. Iran needs $100 to $120.

Venezuela? Oil socialism is kaput. Frack 'em.

What can you do with oil? Buy stuff or make stuff. Making stuff is the better deal. Plastics!!!

You know what I like? Mexicans going into mfg. Smart move.
