For my first post to the board, a perhaps an off the wall idea:
A polywell reactor operating in pulsed mode, the 'coils' being solid conductors powered by induction from electromagnets outside the core. Plotting the net electric and magnetic fields would of course be more complicated, but I see possible advantages in getting the fine coils out of the core.

I don´t understand you clearly. Are you referring to create an electric field in the magnets by induction from other external fluctuating magnetic field? Can you explain how would be designed that reactor? Also its advantages because at the end you have to support physically the reactor (except if you design a new levitating dipole reactor (LDX) )
