Celebrate The End Of Alcohol Prohibition

Post by MSimon »

Dec 5th, 1933. Eighty one years ago. Unfortunately the lessons have not sunk in. Among them: Black Markets are violent markets.
From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prohibitio ... ted_States

It was promoted by "dry" crusaders movement, led by rural Protestants and social Progressives in the Democratic and Republican parties...
Progressives? In the Republican Party? Say it ain't so.

Propaganda has been around for a long time as is the skill at conning 'marks,' and so the label 'Progressive' was chosen to make regressive sound 'Forward' moving. Yes, the regressive Progressives took freedom backwards to serfdom, to taking away choice... for your own good. That is the same cr#p used to market and rationalize slavery.
Counting the days to commercial fusion. It is not that long now.
